Shell Knob, MO Area Information
Welcome to Shell Knob, known as
“The Quiet Side of the Lake”. Located on Table Rock Lake and surrounded
by the Mark Twain National Forest, Shell Knob offers some of the best
fishing and hunting in the Midwest. In Shell Knob we enjoy the four
seasons. Spring brings the beauty of blossoming dogwoods laced with
brilliant redbud trees. Summer brings the warm weather for all the
wonderful water sports and peaks with our Fire and Thunder fireworks on
the 4th of July. Autumn is a great time to enjoy the foliage
aflame with spectacular colors, good hunting, fishing and boating as the
water temperatures remain warm well into October. Winter is just cold
enough to give us a small amount of snow and to enjoy the colorful
songbirds and bald eagles soaring from the sheer rock bluffs. Come and
visit! You will fall in love with the “Quiet Side of the Lake”!
